Keeping The Feeling
The hard work is almost over and ‘The Village’ is set to rock and roll. The exterior is almost complete and things are being put into tip top condition. Now it’s time to join us and enjoy the new style, the fresh look and extra variety.
During the past months The #VillageAustralind has undergone many changes and while the owners wanted to deliver a centre, which offered the community a modern and well appointed precinct in which to meet and shop, they also wanted to maintain a ‘village’ feel.
The refurbishment has included, not just a simple face-lift, but the whole exterior of the shopping centre has been totally remodeled. Extra parking, with wider and shaded bays, new tenant signage, new crosswalks for added safety, LED lighting for energy efficiency, new main entrance signage and large pylon signage from each entrance, all mean greater benefits for shoppers.
In addition, the kids can enjoy a ‘natural environment’ children’s play area between ALDI and the south southern entrance. Improved pedestrian links offer increased customer amenity around the centre and inside there’ll be new seating plants and bins.
It’s a safer more inviting place and the bright shiny look still offers that warm and inviting appeal.
And now you’ll get the opportunity to see just how well they’ve done. You can experience the new feel of shopping at The Village because you’re cordially invited to the reveal. Put it in the diary, Saturday 2nd July 2016. Activities include a sausage sizzle, face painting, free stickers and much more. You can join the crew from HotFM who’ll be broadcasting live from the centre mall and kids don’t forget the ‘Colouring in Comp’. Your entries will be on display over the whole of the July school holidays.
Here’s a special treat, you can have your photo taken with ‘Poppy’ our television commercial Labrador. She’s super friendly and she’ll be there from 10.30am to noon. Oh, and just in case you miss out you can have your photo taken with our giant cut out of ‘Poppy’.
It’s new, it’s fresh and it’s just for you. We think it looks great and the improvements are very smart, without taking away that great country feel.
